“In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.”Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Colonialism and Imperialism are alive and well! Attention to all people and leaders of the Arab and Muslim countries as well as the other Third World countries!! BEWARE of the imperialist ploys to “Divide and Conquer” or “Divide and Rule” your countries!

In politics and sociology, divide and rule (derived from Latin: divide et impera) (also known as divide and conquer) is a combination of political, military and economic strategy of gaining and maintaining power by breaking up larger concentrations of power into chunks that individually have less power than the one implementing the strategy. The concept refers to a strategy that breaks up existing power structures and prevents smaller power groups from linking up.

Under the guise of hypocritical declarations of “war of Liberation” to liberate Iraq from the West so-called Dictator Saddam Hussein that turned out to be the killing of many Iraqi people indiscriminately, “war to hunt for Osama bin Laden, Al Qaeda and Talibans” in Afghanistan that turned out to be the killing of many Afghan people indiscriminately and now a “humanitarian” war to “save” the Libyan people from the West so-called Dictator Gaddafi, the U.S-led western civilization regimes were in fact attempting to gain control of the world oil reserves and international oil trade as well as dominate the whole Middle East and Africa by their military powers (and ultimately the whole world).

The USA is the only Super Power and the renowned World Preacher of Human Rights and Democracy; the other western countries are the guardians of Democracy and Israel is the so-called Western Civilization and Democracy outpost in the Middle East.

But their actions prove that they are afraid of democratic changes that are engulfing the Middle East and North African countries starting from Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain, Yemen, Libya, now Syria and spreading to the other Arab countries.

In the unfolding Egyptian revolution and the revolt sweeping Northern Africa and the rest of the Arab world, the imperial West and the Zionist Israel demonize the struggle itself as “chaos” and raises the “threat” of Islamist regimes taking power where old autocrats fall as a greater evil than the dictatorships themselves.

They use “The Disguised Intervention to Protect or Liberate The Local Citizens” as “the pretext or justification Made In USA” for employing an all out military force against those targeted countries with the main goals to expand and strengthen their global hegemony as well as to occupy and to squeeze those countries out of their natural resources!

Remember the “War of Liberation” in Iraq that turned out to be the “Killing of Iraqi People Indiscriminately.” The US-led Western civilization regimes forces using all kind of sophisticated weapons of mass destruction killed much more (almost two million Iraqi civilians including old men, women, children and babies!) innocent Iraqi people than the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein did during the whole period of his leadership.

Many Iraqi babies are still dying now from radioactive radiation caused by depleted uranium bullets used by the imperialist coalition forces!

They could do the same thing on Libya and the Libyan people! The west intervention in Libya is just another form of improvisation of the old imperialism to become interventionism!

The US and Israeli interests

Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah says: What concerns the US regime in the Middle East region is its own interests and Israel’s interests.  It doesn’t really matter who is in power. America can abandon anyone who is in power at any moment.  Precisely who is in power is unimportant — whether or not he is Islamic doesn’t matter to America.  No one there cares about that.

The Americans don’t veto anyone based on whether he is a Muslim, from an Islamic movement, a leftist, a rightist, a nationalist, a secularist, a religious cleric, a sheikh, a sayyed, a patriarch, or a bishop.  No, that doesn’t concern America.

America is not concerned about such an ideological self-positioning of a leader.  What is most important is this: Is this leader, is this regime, committed to America’s interests and Israel’s interests?  If the answer is yes, no problem, whatever the ideological posturing of the leader and regime may be. . . .

That Is Why, To Avoid A Possibility of  Foreign Hands Fishing in Troubled Waters (in French, “Pêcher en eau trouble): Arab brothers and sisters should beware of foreign (imperialists or Zionists) agents who might want to sow discord among Arab people and Arab countries for the benefits of their own countries political and economic interests.

Remember the fate of the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein: Before the GW Bush so-called “War of Liberation”, Saddam Hussein served the US interests well, when he was fooled and deceived to be used by George Herbert Bush (the father) in the US conflict with Iran (Iraqi-Iranian war that actually was the US-Iranian war) and he was baby-pampered by the western imperialist.

But after the US no longer used Saddam because he was such an unmanageable character, George Walker Bush (the son) just simply wasted him!

That is why the Arab leaders and the other Third World leaders should learn from the fate of Saddam Hussein and the down fall of dictators and tyrants (like Marcos, Mubarak, the Shah of Iran and so on), who could no longer be used by the US and the other western imperialists as their puppets, they would be wasted!

The US hegemony

The US-led Western civilization regimes invasion and occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan and now the intervention in Libya are just the other forms of the old Western imperialism improvisations to become interventionism.

The Western imperialism has now become interventionism using “The Disguised Intervention to Protect or Liberate The Local Citizens” as “the pretext or justification Made In USA” for employing an all out military force against those targeted countries with the main goals to expand and strengthen their global hegemony as well as to occupy and to squeeze those countries out of their natural resources especially oil!!

I suspect this intervention could turn out to be just another US ploy that would deceive Libyan people and most American people as well as the world like they (the US-led western civilization regimes) did in invading Iraq (the War of Liberation) that destroyed almost all important Iraqi infrastructures and killed almost two million Iraqi civilians including old men, women, children and babies!

They could do the same thing on Libya and the Libyan people! Under the guise of hypocritical declarations of a “humanitarian” war to “save” the Libyan people, the U.S. was in fact attempting to dominate the whole of Africa by its military power (and ultimately the whole world).

The US-led western civilization regimes are always applying double standard policies on almost everything against the Muslim World. They demonize Iran’s nuclear energy program as a threat of Iranian nuclear weapons to the region, while turning the blind eyes on Israeli weapons of mass destruction build up that include nuclear, chemical and biological weapons.

The Washington and the US-led western regimes’ reasons and justifications for going to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were fabricated and total lies and now they do it again in their intervention in Libya.

“There is nothing new in a government lying to their people to start a war. Indeed because most people prefer living in peace to bloody and horrific death in war, any government that desires to initiate a war usually lies to their people to create the illusion that support for the war is the only possible choice they can make.” – Sun Tzu, The Art of War: “All war is based on deception.”

America has long been the self appointed global leader on human rights pointing out the shortcomings of others. But now the tables have turned upside down. The US is the only Super Power and the renowned World Preacher of Human Rights and Democracy, but actually doesn’t respect Human Rights and Democracy by invading Iraq and Afghanistan based on fabricated justifications, killing hundreds of thousands (it could be almost two million now) of innocent people there.

The US is now exporting Democracy using Weapons of Mass Destruction as well as installing puppet regimes there, supporting the Israeli crimes against humanity and supporting authoritarian regimes as well as protecting dictators.

The US-led western civilization regimes forces use Depleted Uranium (DU) bombs, munitions and bullets in Iraq, Afghanistan and now in Libya!

Depleted Uranium bombs or munitions kill all of us — human beings: old men, women, children and babies who were already born as well as babies who are still in their mothers wombs or deform them beyond recognition!

DU weapons emit “Alpha” particle dose to a single cell from U-238 which is 50 times the annual dose level. Cancer is initiated with one alpha particle, its daughter isotopes effect generations as the isotopes bio-concentrate in plants and animals, and travel up the food chain. It is a nuclear weapon because the energy is derived from the nucleus of the atom.

They enter the body through the lungs, the digestive system or breaks in the skin. One gram of DU releases more than 12,000 particles per second. The radiation slowly kills the cells that make life possible. The Gulf War syndrome of 1991 did just that ( reported by Dr Asaf Durakovic, Prof. of Medicine , Georgetown University, and discoverer of the “Gulf War Syndrome”.)

We are well aware that the radiation fall-out map “Under the Cloud: Decades of Nuclear Testing” has demonstrated the effects of 1200 nuclear weapon tests conducted at the Nevada Test Site; and the US Government admitted in Nov. 2002, that every living person in the US between 1958-63 was exposed to this fall out resulting in cancer, gene mutation, heart disease, autism, diabetes, Parkinsons, ALS, asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome , hypothyroidism in new-borns, obesity and learning disabilities.

One out of twelve children in the US is disabled. The fall out did not stop at the US borders. It travelled around the world, as atmospheric dust and remains even in the biosphere/ sub-orbital space today. High breast cancer rates have been co-located in the proximity of nuclear power plants in the west and more so in the east coast areas of the US (The Breast cancer map from “The Enemy Within: the high cost of living near nuclear reactors”, quotes US Govt. Disease Control Centers.
The Radiation & Public health Report (RPHP), rendered by a group of independent scientists collected 4000 baby teeth and by measuring Strontium 90 levels in the baby teeth ( a built in dosi-meter ) they have been able to co-relate with radiation related diseases in children living near the nuclear power plants; the main path ways being dairy products and drinking water.

The induction of DU weapons in 1991 in Iraq, the radio-active trash from nuclear plants broke a 46 year taboo. This Trojan Horse of nuclear war, an omnicidal weapon has since then continued to be used more and more. DU remains radioactive longer than the age of the earth ( estimated at 4.5 billion years. )

Islamic recommendation

Islam recommends a united and mutually helpful society, and this vision does not only refer to the level of nation, but includes international relations, too. In this sense, from an Islamic perspective, international law should take the establishment of peace as a foundation.

The root of the word Islam, silm, refers to “making peace, being in a mutually peaceful environment, greetings, rescue, safety, being secure, finding peace, reaching salvation and well being or being far from danger, attaining goodness, comfort and favor, keeping away from troubles and disasters, submitting the self and obeying, respect, being far from wrong.”

The “submitting the self and obeying” here means “submitting to justice and righteousness in order to reach peace and safety and being in a peaceful environment by one’s free will.” In fact, salaam and salaamat, mean “to reach salvation,” and their rubai form (with four radical letters) aslama means “submitted, became Muslim, and made peace.” “Islam” as either a noun or a verb with these meanings is mentioned in many verses in the Qur’an.

In order to be able portray a fair image of Islam, we have to consider its divinely inspired purposes, which yield, as a result, a just worldly order. By applying preventive measures to ensure security of wealth, life, mind, religion, and reproduction, Islam aims to build a society in peace, serenity, friendship, collaboration, altruism, justice, and virtue.

According to the Qur’an, all Muslims are brothers and sisters to each other and if a disagreement appears among them they make peace and correct it (Qur’an, 49:10).

They help each other to avoid what God forbids and to observe their religious awareness at every stage in their life (Qur’an, 5:2); they carry out important tasks after shura, that is, consultation (Qur’an, 3:159; 42:38); and they always witness truthfully and are just even if it is against their close relatives (Qur’an, 4:135).

Again, as mentioned in the Qur’an, a true Muslim follows the straight path. That means that he or she is faithful, honest, and just, is calm, lives to perfectly observe his or her religion and in guidance of reason.2 Pursuing the straight path can be understood as being absolutely truthful and honest in all circumstances, as well as embracing a moderate way of life that encourages good relations with everyone.

Violence-free world for all

The Qur’an emphasizes peace and reconciliation as basic to all social and even international relations. As mentioned in the Qur’an, Paradise, which is the reward for the pious, is a place of serenity.

One of the ninety-nine names of God is Salaam, which means peace. Throughout history, Muslims have made every effort to establish peace and serenity everywhere in all divergent fields, only taking military measures when their enemies tried to hinder these efforts for humankind.

Prophet Muhammad PBUH commanded us to maintain social solidarity and cooperation, to open our hearts to our fellows, and to help one another at all times. He said, “Do not cut relations between each other! Do not turn your backs on each other! Do not grow hatred between each other! O God’s servants! Become brothers and sisters!”

Over the course of history, the general approach of Muslims has been supportive of maintaining peace, spreading an environment of serenity and trust, and constructing a civilization of love, compassion, and mercy to share with other people in peace.

When the Messenger of God (Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him) explained Islam’s potential to contribute to safety and peace in society, he specified one goal in his time as the following: “A rider will travel from Sana’a (a city in Yemen) to Hadhramaut (a region in the southwest of the Arabian peninsula) fearing none but God, or a wolf as regards his sheep.”

If we consider the troubles due to the extreme violence Muslims were exposed to both in the Medinan and Meccan periods, we can understand how meaningful was this message expressed by the Prophet. It does not include any desire for revenge against any person or any group; instead, it only expresses an ardent desire for a violence-free world for all.

Islamic values refer to the high values of peace, human rights, freedom of speech and belief, justice and equality, and democracy. Any society that upholds and practices these values is an Islamic society. Because democracy is only one aspect of this society, we have to mention briefly the other aspects:

1. Equality between races and cultures:

God (Allah SWT) said in the Holy Qur’an, “O people, we created all of you from the same male and female, and we made you into nations and tribes to recognize each other. The best among you is the most righteous. God (Allah SWT) is omniscient cognizant” [49:13].

So we are brothers and sisters from the same parents. God (Allah SWT) made us into different races and cultures to recognize each other, not to fight each other, to benefit from this plurality in this life. In this life God (Allah SWT) ordered us not to exalt ourselves, not to use the religion as a means of living and power. [53:32] [16:90 to 95].

2. Equality between men and women:

Al Qur’an confirms this equality in creation and in responsibility in this life and in the hereafter [3:195] [4:124] [16:97] [40:40]. In the realm of marriage, the Holy Qur’an states justice beside equality.

3. Equality between the different religions:

This is confirmed by two other Islamic values;: freedom of speech and belief, and peace. Accordingly, everyone has the right to believe or to disbelieve, to advocate his belief in a peaceful way without insulting anyone else’s belief or personality.

4. Human rights, and the balance between the society and the individual:

The Holy Qur’an mentions five rights, and makes a unique balance between the society and the individual in this regard.

a) Justice:

Everyone has an absolute right to justice. Justice is the mission of the holy divine messages from God (Allah SWT) [57:25] and the mission of the Islamic state [4:58], [42 :15], [2:282], [65: 2], [16:90]. Any society or state that upholds and practices justice in any time, place, or language is doing so in the true spirit of Islam.

b) Freedom of belief and speech:

Everyone has an absolute right to believe or not to believe [17:107], [18:29], [41: 40] and to advocate what he believes without insulting the others [6:108], [23:3], [28:55], [29: 46]. On the Day of Judgment, everyone will be questioned before God (Allah SWT) alone, according to his or her freedom of belief. The Islamic state has nothing to do in guiding people to the right path; it is a personal choice and responsibility [28:56], [10:108], [17:15], [27:92], [39:41], [3:20], [6:104].

c) Wealth:

Individuals are entitled to wealth so long as they are not minors or fools who may squander their wealth. In such cases, society must appoint a guardian to manage the wealth on behalf of those incapable of doing so themselves. Society must also look after such persons, give them a good life from his income, and supervise the guardians charged with looking after the wealth [4:5-6].

Society is expected to look after its poor. The poor are entitled to charity and to alms, collected by the state or given directly to the needy [9:60], [2:215], [17:26], [30: 38], [6:141], [51:19], [70:24].

At the same time, the Holy Qur’an forbids the concentration of a society’s wealth in the hands of a few people [59:7] because it makes them control the power and the state. Such a concentration of wealth and power results in a class division pitting the hungry majority against the affluent few. The Holy Qur’an considers this a sign of a society’s eventual self-destruction [17:16], [23:33], [21:13], [11 :116], [34:34], [34:23], [56:45], [23:64], [2:195].

d) Security:

Individuals have an absolute right to security. Society has to defend itself from external enemies and to protect its people. An Islamic state is a strong, peaceful state; it prepares its army to prevent enemies from attacking its borders; and it has to be strong in maintaining peace. At the same time, it has to punish any criminal who violates the peace.

e) The right of power:

Shura, or democracy, means assuming power. According to Islam, it is the society as a whole—not one person, like the Egyptian pharaoh in the time of Moses—that owns and exercises power. [43:51 to 54], [40:37], [28:38], [79: 24].

The fanatics, according to their concept of ‘Al Hakemiyah,’ or the governance, believe that the ruler in Islam obtains his political authority from God (Allah SWT) and that he will be responsible before God (Allah SWT) alone on the Day of Judgment.

Did Prophet Mohammed PBUH have the same authority from God (Allah SWT) when he was the ruler of the Islamic state of Al Madina? If so, we may say: He was the final prophet revealed by God (Allah SWT), and no one has the privilege the final prophet had. But the fact is that Prophet Mohammed, as a leader, got his power and the authority not from God (Allah SWT) but from the people or the society, as is the case today in any democratic society.

The people around him gave him shelter after years of persecution in Mecca, and established a state for him to help him against his mighty tribe of Quraysh.

That is why God (Allah SWT) said to him: “And because of the mercy of God (Allah SWT), you treated them with compassion. Had you been harsh and hardhearted, they would have broken away from you. Therefore, you shall pardon them, ask forgiveness for them, and consult them in the matter. Once you reach a decision, then carry it out, putting your trust in God (Allah SWT).

God (Allah SWT) loves those who trust in Him” [3:159]. God (Allah SWT) made his Messenger deal with them gently in order to obtain their loyalty. If Prophet Mohammed had not acted with compassion, his people would have abandoned him and he would have become homeless and helpless in front of his enemies.

Because they were his source of power and authority, God (Allah SWT) made him gentle in dealing with them, ordered him to forgive them if they insulted him and to consult them in affairs of state.

Al-Shura, or consultation, is the Holy Qur’anic expression of democracy. A religious commandment, it refers to the discussions and deliberation that take place at meetings (or Majalis). In these meetings, Prophet Mohammed taught the early Muslims the culture of democracy in Islam.

The human dignity does not depend on the place of one’s birth nor is it limited to one region. The greatness or worth of a person is not measured by his or her outward appearance. There is no room for privileged people who can do with others as they please. Human life is sacred and human rights are not to be denied by those who would subvert them for “national security” or for any other reason.

“A human being is a part of a whole, called by us the universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest… a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” – Albert Einstein .

No race, color or gender are chosen by GOD (Allah) Almighty in Islam. Everyone is evaluated by his or her Good Deeds.

In the Name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful.Allah Almighty said in the Noble Al Qur’an: “O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full Knowledge and is well-acquainted (with all things).” (Al Qur’an, Surah Al-Hujarat, Verse:13).

I am in favor of Peace, Freedom, Justice, Love and Friendship. I am against war because war is suicide and unrealistic option for all people in the world, except War of Independence and War to defend the National Sovereignty! War is an obsolete way. The reasons for going to wars mentioned by Governments especially in the imperialist, the Zionist and the colonialist countries are mostly LIES. They lied to their own citizens!

Thomas Jefferson said: “I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.”

PEACE with JUSTICE is the only way to make this world a better place for all people to live in HARMONY and become more PROSPEROUS! (HSH)
